Default Valve sizes

Good evening to you all, I have recently acquired some 243 cast heads from a Z06 and was wondering if it would be worth to get different valves since they did not come with any. I’m aware that the stock 2.000/1.550 intake/exhaust sizes would suffice. I was wondering if a 2.020/1.600 setup would be beneficial at all or just not worth it. I’ve read that it would definitely work better with ported heads but would it be similar gains without? I’m installing a new cam which is linked Here I have springs, spring retainers, pushrods, rocker rocker arms no valve cover/gasket or head gasket and I’m sure I’m missing something. Any help/info is much appreciated thank you

A good performance valve job and possibly a back cut on the intake valve would go further than larger valves, IMO. A 5.7 LS1 is only a 3.900" bore, a 350 SBC is a 4.000" bore, so the larger valve is much more shrowded wiithout the extra 100 thousandths of bore in the old school 5.7. I'm not sure if you can add a back cut to the factory sodium filled intake valve.
