I'm going to pass on this. No offense intended, but if you do not know how to clean that surface properly, you are probably in over your head with what you are doing. Surface preparation is engine work 101 type stuff. Get paired up(can work onsite with you) with someone that knows what they are doing, and can guide you on the proper use of surface prep tools that will yield the desired outcome without removing unwanted material. cuban, use a metal razor blade and drag it across the deck surface until nothing is coming off. I point the blade away from me while dragging towards me to avoid gouging/nicking the block surface. Also, be sure to chase the head bolt threads and blow out or use a shop vac to suck out any debris. I'd also TDC each piston and run a shop vac over that as well.
