Wire disconnected somewhere. Fuse blown? Grounds?
Need information from you for the best opportunity to get good answers Donald. What car? Ran fine yesterday, today dead? Pulled out of a lake where it's been sitting since 1997?
Side terminal battery? Double or even triple check that the battery and cable terminals and even the bolts are good and clean, then assemble with the bolts quite snug. References indicate 11 lb/ft bolt torque. Don’t know I can force myself to go that high, but I have experienced what I thought were tight bolts causing exactly the same symptoms.

Ran fine until battery got low and when jumped it the alarm went off. Had a warranty on the battery so got a new one but I think the antitheft is locking everything out now. Side terminals are clean. Have tried both keys but still nothing. How can I reset anti theft if that is it?

Start with the service manual information for your car. This one covers early models.
Anti theft will not allow the engine to crank over, but you should still have the gauges and indicator lights come on, the radio should work, anti theft will not shut down all power.
