I've read a bunch of stuff on the forum about door lock and window problems along with Youtube videos about the relay replacements on the control module circuit board. I hope putting yet another thread on the forum about this problem is ok with you guys and gals. My problem started out with the passenger side door lock working intermittently to now both sides working intermittently and the passenger window not working at all. I can hear the relay clicking for the window but no movement...and what sounds like the door lock/unlock actuators moving but the door locks don't work. Someone mentioned something about the control module being very voltage sensitive. The fact that everything seems to be intermittent and out of no where the window stopped working, I sense there's something other than the control module causing the problems. The other thing I did today, was checking the fuses that are suppose to feed the control modules. They are all ok. I'm confused...could a weak battery cause this issue? If so, wouldn't starting the car resolve that...I show 14+ volts on the regulator. The door locks seem to work better while I'm driving but the window does not. My C5 is a 2002 Coupe with 20,500 miles. Thanks in advance!
Your car may have bad electrical connections in the connectors between the doors and car. You will have to pull back the accordion tube and inspect the connectors for spread electrical contacts, one test is to shake the accordion tube and see if that restores operation of the window and door locks.
Shaking both accordion tubes didn't seem to do anything. I'm holding off on disassembly because I watched a couple videos about the accordion tube and wiring problem and the common symptom seems to be a completely dead door. I can hear a clicking sound that makes me think the relay for the window is actuating in the door control module but no power to the door motor. My thoughts are that if I can hear the clicking and I can hear the lock/unlock noise, I must be getting power to the door control module. At this point, I haven't done any troubleshooting (ie removing the door panel, fiddling with grounds). It seems weird that I'd have these problems immediately after these two events: 1. I replaced the passenger side headlight motor; 2. having a dead battery and having to charge back to full charge over a couple days. Oh, btw, I always disconnect the negative terminal before any work on electrical equipment. I know a common problem are the little relays on the circuit board of the door control module but it I can hear the clicking...people tell me that the relay is probably good and working. It's a big job replacing the relays and I'm trying to make sure that is in fact the issue before I tear into them.
Thank you all for your time on this. Any other thoughts to consider?

If intermittent I would remove the connectors from the door modules checking for corrosion or loose terminals...may need a door module.
This was one of the better videos I've seen. I ordered new relays last year. Never got around to actually trying to replace them. The soldering technique is something that is tough. I also found a place..."upfix.com" that will repair the door control modules for about $150. I think I'll try my soldering skills first and then send to them for a rebuild if I need to. Thanks.
Well...I replaced the 3 relays that were the same on the board. Now my door locks work fine but the window still doesn't work. I can hear the relay clicking but nothing. Any thoughts? The 4th relay on the board is something other than the 3 I replaced. Any idea what that relay is?
yee...haw!!!! Well, everything is fixed and working fine. The fix for the door lock not working was the relay in the DCM. I replaced all three relays because I had it apart. The window not working was really puzzling. It was stuck in the closed/up position. I could hear the relay click when I tried to open and close the window but no movement. I was about to order a new motor/regulator assembly and I came across a post where a guy talked about the door slam and hammer tap trick. I tried both of those things, per his instructions, and it still didn't work. A while later I found another post where the guy said you had to do the door slam or hammer tap trick WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE WINDOW OPEN BUTTON. A little detail left out of all the other posts. As soon as I tapped on the inside of the door where the motor is bolted to the door, while holding the window open button...the window magically went down. Apparently if you don't exercise the window enough the motor can stick while closed or open. They also say to lube the motor...which I probably won't do since that requires tearing out the sound deadening material and trying to spray inside door. They also didn't say exactly where to spray so I decided to wait until it happens again. When I store the car during the winter, I always leave all doors, hood and hatch popped so the seals won't compress over the winter. I'm now going to roll the windows part way down before I cover the car.
