Default Path for headlight repair

I’ve searched extensively and there are ALOT of posts about headlight issues.

I’m pretty certain my issue is in the column switch. If I hold the switch back(clockwise)with a good amount of pressure the headlights will stay down.

So when I get out of the car, theyd pop up, I’ve pulled the fuses for the lights and the motors so they don’t popup anymore, although the door still dings as if they were up. No issues for me really because she only a grocery getting in good weather car.

So my question, should the go to replacing the column switch or? Any input is appreciated.

Howdy! Likely sounds like a bad turn signal switch. They are discontinued. Check out eBay for repair and used replacement options.
