Default rfa unit u-codes help needed!

I have a issue w/rfa unit , the key fob will program to the vehicle - works fine for 5 minutes - then fails . I have checked all solder joints, ect... had my fobe checked by the dealership. and just last week sent the car into the dealership, as the bcm had some internal failure. - thanks to a old issue of battery acid, that the previous owner never addressed. so I had the wires repaired, had the new body control module installed, and they said that this would take care of my alarm not functioning issues. I have had the car for five years now, yet the alarm quit working shortly after I bought it . the codes it started putting out were - service tire press system, rfa 1255, u1096(ipc), u1064(bcm), u1016(pcm). and still after all the work the dealership had done......the same codes are popping up, I told them even the service tech that I wanted them to test the rfa- class 2 failure. to correct this issue. I told them I have a tech 2 scanner- but not the serial buss tester, and I didn't feel that a new bcm could fix this....
I have read some post in this forum dated 2002. but though it was similar, it really wasn't the same as my key fob is new, my solder joints at the antenna are good. does any one know how to test the serial data liens with out the star/bus terminal tester? as the dealership thinks im some kind of idiot - and refuse to test the data line. it took them 3 days to program the rpo codes into the car, that alone points to difficulties in programing to me. plus now I have no door chime, and the car can't see the seat control module now.... I really don't want to take it back to them. they told me the car was all done and every thing was working fine.....
I took it back to them the same day I got It back and they told me they couldn't even look at it for about a week.....I need to test the serial data circuit somehow......... wish I had bought a c6
well if any one has the time to read this short book , and has any suggestion ? thanks
p.s. sorry for any text errors - I just had major neck surgery 2 weeks back, and it's not so easy typing right now.

Hey Bill, Roger here..

Rally old this post, but IM Just having the same issue as @burdett83
My car is C5 1998 redTorch with just 22k miles

Started to fail the fob/alarm maybe 2-3 weeks ago, so I just programmed again, but the next day, fails again, just like take off the battery and have to program again.
I tink it was the fob´s battery so I replaced and programm again, but next day AGAINA FAILS.

Te Codes was the same:
BO-RFA
U1255 H
U1096 H
U1064 H
U1016 H

So Im pretty sure it has to be with the grounds, but I dont know which one.

Right now Iim thinkin that 2 weeks ago, was the first time in 25 years that I used the car on the rain 2-3 days...

Hope you can help me
