Twist on MN6 column lock fix
Had the Column Lock Recall (yes, offically the GM steering campaign 01044, but on my service ticket is states RECALL 01044) done this week.
For the last few months I've had a noise coming from from the steering column when I make turns, most notably lock to lock.
No big deal, it's just out of warranty and what the heck, the GF whines too.
I get the CL fix done and on the service ticket is states "STEERING WHINES ON TURNS, RECALL 01044, PER VISS, RECALL"
Column lock done, and the steering noise is gone!!
Is this unique to me or does anyone else have the "whine"? Could this be related to the CL issue?
