I am trying to put my car back to stock, the previous owner put a sparco steering wheel in the car before i purchased the car.
Anyone know what is on the other end of the wire that was cut on the airbag?
Those are horn wires. Black one gets placed under a bolt head for ground and the red wire used to have a white spring loaded plastic gizmo on it to attach it and end of wire had a round disk shaped piece that made contact with a slip ring.
Find a video showing air bag removal and you will see it being disconnected with a quarter turn movement.
I upgraded my airbag cover a couple of months agowith a new one fro Overtakeauto.com .
