This is NOT a job for the weekend mechanic :nono: There are very small springs.washers and valves to be replaced in the valve body. You need to drill the feedholes in the 2nd,3rd and 4th gear feedhole and it's a 3-5 hour job for the professional that is familiar with the kit. There is in fact a how to video that comes with the kit.
My suggestion is to have Steve Atkins install the kit. Call him at www.eastcoasttransmissions.com 954-772-3000 in Fort Lauderdale..It's worth the trip to get it done right ...the first time! :yesnod:
I did the install myself. It is true that its a detail intensive job. If you can find someone to install it for $200. I would do it. Also there is a plastic piston or two that should be changed to aluminum. If you decide to do it yourself, give me an e-mail.
P.S. You have to get LS1 edit or have someone remove the TM with a programer.
