you have to change the pcm for the ratio change, and TCC slip tables and shift points need to be changed in the PCM to compensate for the gear change. the diff is a bolt in
3.42 and a nice 3200 stall would a nice street combo. Are you installing this yourself? Just curious.
This is exactly the combo my car has had since 2005. A 3.42 diff with the upgraded stub shaft, and a 3,200 Yank converter. OP, if you do this, start a tire fund. Do it now!!! Trust me......
The 3.42 differential from a manual transmission C5 will need the adapter plate cover insert #12554838 to work behind the automatic transmission. You can call either one of these shops for details;
