Hazards Stuck On! Help!
Hope you are well.
I'm having an odd issue and was hoping someone could assist.
Recently, my turn signals stopped working properly. Due to the common hazard switch issue, I ordered a new one (Part #10359580) and installed it over the weekend. Now, my hazard lights are constantly flashing regardless of the button being in the on or off position. As soon as the car is on I can still hear the clicking from the switch itself. The only way They turn off is when I am pressing on the brakes.
Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? I have a state inspection soon and I don't want it to fail because of this!
Thank you in advance!
I'll ask the stupid question, are your hazard lights on, i.e. can you press the hazard switch and turn them off? Maybe they wired the switch backwards and it has to be in the 'down' position to be off?
Although I think if it were just a bad switch your hazards would be flashing while the car is off too. Possible wires got pinched during the repair?

The hazards are ON constantly with the button pressed in the off and on position but only in the rear i noticed today
The front indicators functions as normal.
I will have a look at the wires this upcoming weekend once I get the chance if no success i might just have to order another switch.
I reached up from behind it was a mission honestly don’t want to do it again lol.
Possible but it’s the only thing i swapped in before the issue started so that’s why i am assuming it’s the switch.
