FML: 2003 Z06 T56 replacement?
After a new clutch last year, torque tube rebuild this year...now my 4th and 2nd gear synchros are going out. I've got some time as I can still shift with double-clutching or careful driving, but it seems clear I need to replace it.
Recommendations? I was looking at both Tick Performance (I have heard both good and horrible) and RPM transmissions. I'm tentatively planning to do a 427 CID upgrade when I overhaul (probably next week at the rate things are going :/) but no plans for a forced induction or a crazy build. VERY open to suggestions based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (rather than "I heard these guys are great) for what to do here. I have a good shop to do the work - basically ~$1200 for the R/R. THANKS!
