Default Problems with turn signals working intermittently

Had this problem for awhile now and I have been trying to see a pattern but so far there is none. Sometimes they work sometimes they don’t, most of the time they don’t. Sometime they work right after I start the veg but then stop. Sometimes they don’t work but then start. I thought it might be the bcm but now I’m not sure. I also have the same pyrite the steering wheel / seat auto set. Some times it adjusts and some times it doesn’t. Not sure if they may be related or not. Any ideas of people that have the same issues currently or in the past? Thanks for any help.

Mine was my hazard switch starting to fail. Instead of changing the switch I added a hyper flash relay and it serves as the flasher.

Hazard switch would be my first shot as well. Hyperflash harness goes in under the knee panel -- pulling the dash pad isn't the hell some think it is, but the knee panel is a lot less work.

Thanks to both of you for your responses. Wondering if it would just be the flash, they do not work at all when they don’t work. It’s not that they don’t blink. They do work sometimes and work normal. So I’m thinking it must be something else but not sure.

Cycle or wiggle the hazard button and note if the blinkers start working again.
This was my trouble shooting method.
I just installed the hyper flash harness and my blinker are now working.

First try cycling the hazard switch on and off for 20 cycles. If that brings back the turn signals, there is an old post on removing the hazard switch cover, drilling a small hole and injecting contact cleaner such as Break Free.

I had intermittent turn signals until about 12 years back when I drilled the hazard switch, injected Break Free. No problem since.
