Default New slave cylinder kit from Tick

Tick Performance was showing off their new slave cylinder kit on FB. Looks like a pretty stout unit. Curious to see how well it holds up.

It's great to see more product offerings. That said, I dunno about it. Pretty pricey for what it is, and I'm not sure how they justify $40 extra for a "normal" length bleeder hose when the slave cylinder is already $460. I'm sure there are some race-level use cases, though...

Looks interesting, but $460?
More interesting: all my life we’ve been told not to apply any pressure to the release bearing unless actively shifting, for fear of wasting the bearing. Now, Tick is saying it’s critical that the bearing be in constant contact with the clutch fingers. I will have to watch that video.

Yea curious about that as well. The price is steep, but it's in line with McLeod's offerings.

With their "required" shim kit and setup tool + the 48" bleeder that should be standard that is $609 for it.

My LS7 clutch and flywheel kit costs not much more than that.
