F45 Suspension Delete Help!
Hello, I have a 2002 convertible with the F45 shocks, and they have gone bad and cannot afford to replace with OEM, I live in Forney, TX 75126 hoping one of you guys have a Tech 2 and could help me delete the RPO F45 from the computers so I can put on Bilstein B6 shocks. Could you also recommend a shop for installing the shocks with me providing the parts.

Just a suggestion - if you need the F45 deleted and new shocks installed, I would get a price from your local Chevy dealer. One stop shipping. The dealer did my '99 F45 delete.

Might be worth asking in your regional forum. For example, if you were local I would help you out. Guys who know their way around a Tech II variant would take maybe 5 minutes to complete this job.

You can also leave the top of the shocks with the electrical connection on the car. This will also fool the system into believing the F45 shocks are still in place. Just zip-tie them in place in the wheels well until you can get the system updated.
