My window seal problem has gotten worse.
The seal on my covert doesn't stop water intrusion. When it rains, the seats get sloopy wet unless I tape the gap. I've put on new top, replaced the front windshield rubber weatherstrip and the entire convert top rubber seals and still the same problem. I also replaced the window track inside the door panel. When driving the gap is quite visible and gets worse if the A/C is on from the inside air pressure. I have been to GM dealer several times for adjustments. First they charged me an exorbinant amount to make some adjustments to the window track. It didn't work completely and now they are saying it's too bad and they have done all they can but with such an old car I should expect this kind of issue. Obviously they are not my mechanic of choice, but I live on island of Maui and there aren't any others. Really at my wits end so I could use some help or advice. Thanks, prof jimB

I came across this video on YouTube that does a very nice job of explaining how to adjust the windows on a C5 Corvette. Right around the 11:00 minute mark he shows where the adjustments are. Here is the link. Hope this helps! https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_con...kduckgo.com%2F

where did you find the weatherstripping? I’ve got a similar issue
I got them from Top Flight Automotive.com; in PA. They had OEM and Repro. Recommend OEM. Don't be surprised at the cost!
Thanks for asking. Hopw this helps.
Much appreciated. The video instructions are straight forward with the up-down and left-right adjustment. What I didn't see was how to adjust the in-out tension. For example with the door open, the window is very wobbly in-out. I need to find that adjustment if there is one. Or is that controlled by the motor and rack assembly? Anyone have feedback on that? Mahalo, prof jim
@professorjim I think what you want is the tip-in procedure. It should be in your service manual. These photos are from a 2000 service manual, your process may be different.

Mahalo for your response and the pics. I'll take to the GM dealer/shop and see if that helps them. Unfortunately I can't DYI where I live and have to rely on other shops. I'll update when it gets fixed.
