PCV valve replacement
I have a 2004, and wanted to change the pcv valve, watched videos, looked simple enough. I give it a go and I don’t see the pcv. After further research, the pcv is internal? Is it serviceable?

I'm pretty sure all 2004 (LS1 and LS6) used the "fixed orifice" PCV system.
OP, check the "Normal Maintenance Replacement Parts" (or whatever) section of your 2004 owner's manual. I bet there's no PCV valve part number listed.

04 does not have a PCV valve. The restrictor is built into the valley cover. However, Sometimes it's possible that the RTV used by the factory to seal the unit to the underside of the valley cover has failed allowing oil to get sucked into the system.
