Heads up Display
I have an automatic 2004 corvette, and my heads up display currently does not work and I’m looking for a new one. I was wondering if I replaced mine with a manual version, would there be any issues?

All HUD modules are the same for the C5, no difference between Auto and Manual cars.
Now yours probably can be repaired. It is most likely that the pivot pin for the mirror inside the HUD has broken. I have fixed a couple by replacing the broken plastic pin with a small screw.
To remove the HUD the dash has to come out. There are a few hidden screws but not a bad job to remove it. Take about 30 minutes for 2 people working on it.
