Rebuild wont help you. Keep the original. They come a long way and they are very compatible with the chafging system. Try mecham. Brett on here sells them he guarantees then you will have no problems.

I used 1000amp but it doesn't matter if the alt cant keep up with the draw. lights will still dim until the high volume is turned and accessories turned off.
If you mean physical size you have to go measure the battery and find one bigger
