I replaced the battery in my C5 and now it still will not start - turns over but wont start - any ideas where to start trouble shooting - although its a 03 I am only second owner - less than 30,000 miles never any problems.
Spray Brake Kleen into the brake booster hose...if the car attempts to start you have a fuel delivery issue...do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on ??...while cranking if Tach does not move you may have a crank sensor issue....being a new member can you fill out your profile...model year, manual or auto, mods, tune etc...

Was the previous battery a lead/acid battery, do you know if it has boiled over or gassed-off onto the area below the battery tray? The PCM and TAC modules are located in a cavity inside the fender behind the passenger side wheel well. The PCM and TAC module wiring harness travels under the battery tray from this location to the engine compartment. Remove the battery and tray and inspect the area below for corrosion damage and wiring harness damage. Even if this is not the problem, it is a good idea to inspect this area and address any degradation that may have taken place. There are many post on this subject, good luck!
