Default Clutch hydraulic quick connector.

I’m getting ready to take the torque tube out of my ‘04 Z to replace the driveshaft couplers. I EXPECT to not be replacing the clutch, but I certainly won’t know for sure until I’ve inspected everything.

My question is regarding the hydraulic quick connection near the slave cylinder. Does the master cylinder side of that connection have a check ball that is going to keep my master cylinder from draining once it’s disconnected or do I need to be ready to somehow seal it up once it’s disconnected?

And… Yes: I’ve searched for days and can’t find the answer in any previous posts.

Thank you in advance.

Okay. I use the type of coupling referenced in the provided link for hydraulic tractor implements but wasn’t sure if the small couplers in our clutch systems were just smaller versions of those. I was thinking they probably were but I wanted to confirm it before tearing everything apart.

Thank you.

From what I remember, it can slightly drip. Won't be a problem if you can angle it upwards.

Not even that. I finally got the car put back together this evening. Luckily nothing at all leaked out while it was disconnected I suspected that would be the case but haven’t ever separated one of these fittings.
