C5 dies while using clutch
So I have a 2000 c5 and it just recently started dying while I’m on the clutch it seems like. it’s super smooth it’s like you turned the key to turn off the car. And it starts right back up with zero issues. It’s mostly when I’m downshifting into neutral but it has happened in the middle of a 2-3 shift.ice noticed it only happens when I’m using the clutch, once I’m in gear it runs perfectly fine. I recently replaced the clutch myself about a month ago and just replaced my harmonic balancer 2 days ago. While the steering link was separated from the rack I accidentally over the steering wheel a little bit so maybe I messed something up in there. I’ve heard of the steering column turning off cars after a certain speed but my vehicle speed sensor broke when replacing the clutch so my speedometer currently does not work so the car does not know how fast it’s actually going.
