I am planning to buy some system, any input on the following

They all work. I have a Vortex. It requires cutting the shroud which some others don't. If you do an archive search, you will find this discussed many times, that's why no one has responded.

vortech is the one , you can buy the shroud pre cut. before vortech 13.38@104mph. after 13.002@108.5. so yes they work. blackwing is a breeze to install . :chevy

If hp is what you're looking for, my advice is to buy the least expensive one. They are all good for about the same hp increase.

All the intake systems you mention are very good. I went with the Blackwing and Cold Air Fog Light Covers. Easy to install, very high quality and stock appearance. I like the way it installs securely like the factory air box. I have seen Blackwing specials posted on the Forum for $200 shipped in the recent past. Check out the CF Mall.
