The FIRST thing you want to check for any module “no comm” is power and grounds for that module…pins A and B are battery and ignition feed and the 2 grounds are pins F and G !!…if power and grounds are ok the module is usually bad…what 4 grounds are you referring to ???

4 ground engine points on frame in engine bay. I will check the plug. In the meantime can I pull out each copper tube and clean and solder all points ? Or once copper tubes are removed from electrical board it’s toast

I would check powers and grounds first before even messing with it…best to load the powers and grounds with an old headlight bulb and at minimum an incandescent test light…to test the ground hook the test light up to B+ and probe each of the 2 ground terminals…G103 and 108 are the grounds…you may just have a blown fuse in 5 and 52 !!…did you have any other “U” codes from any other modules ??

1571 HC that I think I fixed with bad ground on frame.

28 TCS no comms.

im going to solder points on ecbm first while it is out . Should I clean copper coils or will I do more damage cleaning them . I assume the 2 copper coils that are raised will need to be resolders as well. I have unit out but I can’t get to car until weds to check plug . And can possibly fix this in advance was my thinking
