1998 Corvette Issues
First post, so be gentle. My son and I just bought a '98 Corvette. It has few things we need to repair. We want to be able to work on it a little, but I'm not a mechanic. I can work tools and am handy, for what that's worth.
2 main issues:
- The AC blows cold, but there isn't much airflow. We pulled and cleaned the blower fan and it is marginally better, but still not blowing hard enough.
- Within the last couple of weeks, the Traction Control and ABS lights came on, but I can't tell if there is any actual change in how they are working.
I pulled the codes as suggested in another thread:
PCM
P0705 C - Transmission Range Switch Circuit A/T
P1571 H C - TORQUE SIGNAL IS OUT OF THE VALID RANGE (SEE C1277)
P1644 H C - Delivered Torque Output Circuit
TCS
No Comm.
IPC
U1040 H - Loss of Communications with TCS
HVAC
B0361 H C - Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B0363 H - Left Actuator Feedback Open
LDCM
B2262 H - Horizontal Position Sensor Fit
RDCM
B2265 H - Horizontal Position Sensor Fault
Any help/explanation would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Lots of good info at the top of the C5 General section. Clean the udders for instance.
Welcome to the forum. There are some really great folks on here...
Do you hear the blower motor speed change as you request higher and higher speed?
Do all your modes switch correctly when requested from the hvac control head-defrost, floor, bilevel, vent, and floor?
