Default Rough ride update

Changed the front and rear shocks.
Removed the original magnetic shocks, On the fronts one of them you could compress with one hand, the rear was the same, one was very easy to compress. Bilsteins installed front and rear. What a difference now. Are these worth anything or just scrap?

Btw, did you go with the Bilstein B6 or B8s? Is your car lowered? Thanks.

I just did an F45 to B8 swap on Sunday. The car is more planted like you are in performance mode setting. But and it's a big BUT...the car feels very comfortable and much more positive in turns, digs, at speed and managing road imperfections. I enjoyed the F45 in this car, but the B8s are a pretty drastic improvement.

My car is lowered on stock bolts. The B8's did raise the car considerably though. After we brought the lift down its the first time since 2008 that my lowered on stock bolts coupe was able to clear the lift pucks without the assistance of a pump jack.

Also the space between the tire and wheel well gap got bigger. Which I am not that thrilled about. Especially after the car was first on the ground, before the shocks settled. It looked like a 4x4! She did settle though and now its acceptable. It's also the first time in 4 years since the Novi install that the rubber air damn attached to the rad/intercooler support didn't scrape on everything.

its a good choice if you are debating the swap to B8s.

Scrap. How do you like the ride with the Bilstein's? Did you go B6 or B8?
