Default Help with new tires

I have a 2000 Corvette and need new tires. I was wondering about sidewall size. If I increase the rear from 275 to 295 should I keep the 40 side or go with 35 or 45. Could anyone let me know the most common sizes? Also, any ideas about the fron tires? I need to order right away so any advice is welcome. I need the largest size I can get with stock wheels, I was told in the read thats 295. Thanks in advance.

As long as they fit on your rims, if you increase the rear from 275 to 295 you should go with 35 to retain the same tire height. To retain proper tire height in front the next step would be 265/40/17 but they probably won't fit the stock C5 rims. Check the tables on the "Tire Rack" website for size and fitment.
I went with 255/40/17 in Front & 285/35/18 in Rear and adjusted with the Hypertech Programmer.
