Power steering pump
Just wondering if anyone here has rebuilt their own power steering pump themselves? Mine is not leaking but it’s just hard to turn, can’t see any movement in the reservoir but because it’s higher than the pump I don’t know if you’d ever see movement. I don’t want to go through all the trouble of replacing it with a cheapo and have problems later but AC Delcos are pretty expensive so my thought was rebuild the original one but I don’t know if a rebuild would fix that?

I rebuilt mine with instructions I found on LS1 Tech. Its not entirely a 1:1 of the Corvette pump, but its 90-95% there
You need a vise, patience and some good tools- but as long as the pulley comes off in one piece, its not a hard job. I am surprised at how simple they are inside
