Can I start engine with no dash on
I started hearing a hissing noise on the driver's side of a newly acquired C5Z. It goes away when I turn the air on (although the AC doesn't blow cold) and comes back when heating/cooling off. I figured it is a hose for the heating cooling and took the dash off (I also need to install wideband to the ODBII port so figured I'd kill two birds and do it nice and neatly). After removing the dash there is no obvious hose disconnected or broken, so to identify I need to start the car and visually / audibly inspect, but I'm concerned about any problems on turning the engine on while there is no dash / all connections disconnected. Will this cause any problems or can I turn the engine on (the hissing doesn't start when just 'on') without risk? Thanks!
