Rear View Mirror removal
I am trying to remove the autodimming rear view mirror to replace it with one that works. My mirror has the crazy spring clip that needs to be pressed down to remove the mount. I do have the proper tool, bit the mirror will not budge. Is there a trick to this - don't want to crack my windshield. Also, the mirror itself hooks to the mount via a ball mount. Can the mirror simply be "pulled" off the mount? Thanks
