I have my HVAC control unit out to resolder those 8 little bits. I noticed this on the other circuit board and didn’t think it looked factory. Is this what it’s supposed to look like?
Here's a picture from a YouTube video showing the repair to HVAC module. That area of concern is also shown here. Looks to be similar to yours, maybe wire routing can be a little different from part to part if it's hand assembled. Also, something on your board looks like it's been soldered in that picture. Maybe someone was in there before you and it was reassembled with the wires routed slightly different.
