Default passave entry fob
how do you tell the difference( years) in the fob's by looking at them

The passive years are 97,98,99. The fobs have a switch on the front.
If your asking can you tell a 97 from a 98 or 99 i don't know.
2000 and newer there is no switch and the fob is smaller.

Other than the switch that reads "PASSIVE" on the bottom of the key fob, there is not a distinguishing difference between the 97,98,99 years.
