Best C5 windshield crack repair kit
Can anyone recommend the best DIY windshield crack repair kit? I took a rock yesterday just above the bottom driver side windshield. It's pitted right now but expect it will spider if I don't fix it. Thank you!

The DIY kits are marginal at best. If you want to salvage your windshield, hire a professional auto glass repair service.

A lot has to do with the type and shape of the damage. Most leave a visual mark. Insurance companies want you to fix vs replace as it is cheaper.

I have to agree with having it done. Safelite came to my house and did it in the garage. No cost and I cannot tell where it was now.
