My tabs were off slightly, but enough so that I had to put a washer in on each side. I also noticed something rattling very loud, and found out that the 2 springs in the rear are NOT supporting anything. That's why they're free to rattle, I can just kick the tire to move the car a little bit and those springs would rattle. So the rear of my exhaust system is only supported by the hanger tabs at the rear bumper.

WOW- I was thinking about buying the FLP's until I read this thread. I surley dont want to spend $1600 on them and $500 to install only for there to be problems of this sort.

All headers are going to have fitment issues with the C5's. The FLP product is worth the effort required to use COMMON SENSE and loosen the header tab holding bracket - test the fit - slot or enlarge the header tab holes as needed - leave everything below loose - install the X-pipe - then EVENLY TIGHTEN THE TAB, BRACKET, and X-PIPE BOLTS! Add washers if needed - but this is not rocket science. The end results are AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with JR, my RK sport headers had this exact same problem, as he stated just loosen the bracket and if needed slightly slot the tab, thats what I did and they bolted up fine.
