Its a big job, not a hard job.
It took me about 8 hours on jack stands.
Have a plan, watch some videos and do research here.Make sure you have all tools and parts on hand.
At the very minimum, replace the HB, the cover seal, and the two o-rings on the rack lines by the driver-side wheel well.
Okay good to know how I know I have to sit on whole days side maybe day off. None of the videos I watched mentioned a cover seal it only shows the seal for the shaft behind the HB is there a step that I'm missing

sorry, yes that is what I meant.
I bought the tool to easily remove that.
Well I finally got some time to work on this. I decided to change the belt being they used the old belt for some reason. New belt and problem is gone. It stays on the pulley. The old belt was stretched compared to the new one. I'm going to replace the idler pulley because I think that is my noise. The HB does not seem to have any wobble or noise.
So it continuation of my power steering pulley and belt saga. After bouncing back and forth with AAA they have no service centers on Long Island only a few certified repair shops. There is no way I'm taking this car to the first shop they gave me. Definitely not in a good area My stereo and probably all four rims will be gone before they even get to my car. Everything else seems to be far and backed up 3 weeks in work before they can get to mine. Every video I see shows the power steering pump being removed and the pulley installed. But I was told it has to be pressed on while in the car. Is there a way to press this the 3/16 of an inch that it needs to be flush with the shaft without removing the ABS system and everything else they said they had to remove. If you look at the face of the pulley the shaft is about 2 or 3/16 inside the edge.
If I unbolt the ABS system is there enough play in there for me to get the tool into the front of the shaft on the pump? Without removing the ABS?
When I removed mine to replace the p/s pulley with the metal one, I removed the alternator, disconnected the p/s resivoir hard line, then unbolted the accessory bracket with the p/s pump still attached. I completed the swap on my work bench no issues. It was slow going removing the bolts for the accessory bracket, but it all worked fine.
EDIT: My water pump and radiator were out when I did this it may have made it easier.

I don't think the pulley is on enough. I never had this issue before until they changed it. I'm heading home and I will try to get a picture when I get there. When you look at the pulley if you were to put a flat edge across the face of the center the shaft is inside slightly and does not touch the flat edge so the pulley is out. I think that is what's pushing the belt toward the front of the car slightly.
Also what did you mean it was not on correctly. Any way to do this without taking the pump off?

Thanks...for some reason I didn't catch the first part of that post. Well it's going in Monday to have the pulley set correctly and I may just have them do the HB as well.
