Need a replacement front nose/bumper '03 C5, source??

A good local body shop that has replaced the nose once already and now doing the back and front bumpers (yes, a run of bad luck but insurance is paying!) now says they can't get a front bumper and it could be 1-2 months. I didn't ask where they source it, they just said 'Chevrolet'. I looked at gmpartsdirect.com and they do show the front on back order. But I see a ton of other sources online.

I'm fine with taking my chances on another source if it comes recommended by someone who has had experience with that vendor (I'm not sure the shop will, but first things first).

Any suggestions on a good source for a new nose for my car? The prices really vary too but I care more about quality than cost.

Well that got me really excited, they show a front bumper 'cover' for only $519.00 next to a GM box it came out of and... out of stock. Thanks though, good tip. I had no idea it could be that cheap!

Also try Corvette Recycling. They may even have one in body color.

Call Contemporary Corvettes here in PA. Loads of C5 parts and I've dealt with them numerous times. They will ship one if they have it. GOOD LUCK!

I did a quick check for you and they have a blue one for $629.00.
