Yes I have studied most of the previous posts re C5 balancer wobble. My 2000 crapped out in 2011 at 41k miles. It now has nearly 46k miles and is only driven occasionally but I'm working to make it road worthy once again. Of course, I keep checking that wobble and thought it helpful to get forum perspectives. The video was imported to my Windows PC from an iPhone 16. I downloaded the HEVC extension to view the MOV video. It worked at the PC level. I've included both a photo and the 10 second video.
Your impressions appreciated. i ask because planning on a 280 mile trip and not certain whether wobble can tolerate the trip!
280 mile round trip or one-way trip? Regardless, that wobble isn't going to self-heal anytime soon...I'd suggest alternative transportation for said trip.
Concluded its now or later so went ahead and ordered parts. Ordered the PowerBond PB1117N balancer and arranged with a local shop, that did the work years ago, to provide labor.

Thx for the honest views.
Good deal....you'll sleep better once this is done. By chance did you get the ARP 234-2503 balancer bolt as well?

I found "bolt selection" as overwhelming as everything with this project and went with Delco GM Genuine bolt at $26.99. Called and learned it was a grade 8 bolt and others, GM types, were for six cylinder and whatever. The descriptions and specs do not give enough information. I see now after checking it would have "fit."
All you had to do is call ARP for the correct part#. The ARP bolt can be used again and again. The new bolt you have now is a one and done throw away.....

I don't want to do this again...this is the third balancer this 46k mile 2000 Corvette has had. I got two 78s...still with their original...get it?
