I never said it was a low quality caliper. It's just that they are not inthe same performance league as the kits with 14" rotors. I'm not disn' your set-up.

Re: Dilusi Big Brake package poll/opions (Moundir)
I don't beleive that slotted rotors are needed with todays modern pads from what I have read lately. No personal experience. David giver the StopTechs a good workout (ABUSE) so they are tried and true. That would be at the top of the list. I know what ever you get see what replacement rotors cost
Be sure to get the upgrade to the 14" rotors because 13.68" 2 piece rotors Front and rear are not considered "A Big Brake System" on this board. :nono: Be sure to call up LPE and argue with them regarding the pad sizes and how the other systems stack up against the one they sell. Now you have spent $6,463. You will need to get it shipped and installed. Who knows what work has to be done to install this set... But at least you will have a setup that everyone can be proud of. :yesnod:

Re: Dilusi Big Brake package poll/opions (vetterdstr)
vetterdstr,
DON'T LOOK NOW BUT i THINK YOUR ROTORS ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE!!!
at lease it looks like your rotors are trying to scoope air around the perimiter of the rotor and draw it into the middle. Do my eyes decieve me?
They are supposed to draw air from the centers and expel to the out side as the wheel turns. Right?
Check out the Brake Man setup, Huricanes in front and Toronados in the rear. I pulled the Brembos off of a viper GTS that wouldn't stop. Put TBMs on and now we are out braking the Porsches and BMW M3s by a long shot.
I'll probably put the Huricane F-4s on the front of mine and shift the fronts to the rear and upgrade the Mastercylinder. Prolly cost $3600 and take about 10 hours to install, as you need to add 2lb residual check valves between the ABS and the calipers up front.

You're right, you never said that.
David Farmer did, my bad
Look, I’m not trying to argue which kit is best (‘cause I honestly don’t know for sure),
I just thought the comment that “Willwood Calipers are not of high quality” was lame
…especially w/o any explanations
Sounds like a bad sales pitch to push the stuff you’re selling…
Re: Dilusi Big Brake package poll/opions (CPT Z06)
CPT Z06, please tell me you are kidding...:D
MODS:
Hate the LS6, replaced it with a 327 with camel back heads, a 3/4 race cam, and a Holley 750 double pumper and 4 on the floor Hurst shifter with a white ****, who needs 6 speeds anyway? Replaced the fiberglass leaf springs with the rubber donuts from a 1969 Mini Copper.

Sorry for a semi hi-jack...

Of course, all that stuff was too hard except for the Mini cooper suspension mods, those rubber donuts really hold the road, that is until they warm up and get lose. :lolg:
