I snapped an ARP head stud once and called them and they said "Did you put oil on the flat part?" I said "No, that's not in the instructions." They said it was a must. I only say this because it was not in the paperwork. Prop_Joe said it. I am just trying to impart importance.

Strange they told you that, because only the stud threads and bottom of the nut get lubricated with ARP ultra torque for studs. The washer goes in dry.....and that is in the instructions.
OK, I need some guidance, Now how do I hold the crankshaft in one place as I tighten the APR Crankshaft bolt ?? There isn't a flywheel to lock it up with ?

I have a tool from Summit Racing that I purchased to hold the crankshaft while tightening the harmonic balancer bolt. Other option is to purchase a flex plate holding tool which requires removing the starter to install the tool.

What are you trying to communicate? The engine is on a stand? You have an auto transmission?
I'm assuming you have the proper tool that presses the balancer onto the crank already? That being said, Depends which dampener you have. I installed a Fluiddampr and had to use the one with bolts on the hub of the balancer. If you have a stock stye HB with the three slots there is another you can use.
Bolt on style:
You can probably rent a tool at Auto Zone. Many times you can purchase the tool and return it, in essence a rental. I just did this to use a steering wheel puller from Auto Zone, when done, I returned it and got a full refund.
