Misc electrical issues - Driver side window, Gauge cluster lights and park lights
I have another C5 thread going right now, that thread is not about this vehicle. Vehicle has been sitting in a climate controlled garage parked for awhile need some minor maintenance. Maintenance was done and the car is running and driving great except for few minor issues.
When you open the door, the gauge cluster and the dash lights are all illuminated. When you turn on the head lights or park lights on the stalk, all the lights go out and the dash goes dark. No park lights, but DRL's are on. Brake light and turn signals work. In the day time when the light are off the turn signal indicators on the dash work. When the lights are turn on, on the stalk, the turn signal indicators on the dash don't flash. I have seen some threads about the stalk being problematic in these cars.
Separate issue. From the driver door, the passenger window will roll down, the driver window will not.
It could be problems with the stalk, as for the driver window not operating it could be the switch, problem could be with drivers side door module, or a loose electrical connection in the connectors between the door and car, regardless you will have to remove the door panel and take a look around.
