Buy a viper ****. Cut it. Fill it. Re-drill and tap it for the MGW thread. Boom. Guys with Hurst shifters can direct install the actual Viper shift handles which themselves cost about $220.
In the end you won't want leather.

Extra awesome on MGWs... because I like the mechanism of my ancient MGW but I prefer a taller shift height for easier throw such as with the Tick... is a custom **** being offered by Alex McMahon on FaceBook who can be searched within the Corvette Track Enthusiasts page. He managed to make a design which is comfortable for those who shift over the top as well as anyone who side grabs while resolving the common low MGW mounting height.
