Default Tire Recommendations for non run flats

I have read a bunch of posts on tires. My rear tires are done and the fronts are too old to not replace. What are good tires that everyone is using for a weekend driver C5?
I'm not looking to go crazy on the tires being it is not driven a huge amount. Suggestions?

Step one imo is find out what size you're looking for. Not all models use the same sizes and yours are not necessarily stock sizes anyway.

I’ve payed high price for “name brand” tires and have paid reasonable and even low prices ($150/per tire lol) for tires I’ve never heard of. Couldn’t tell the difference while street driving which is all I do. My rears tend to lose a bit of rubber and cheap, new, well balanced tires are batter than older expensive unbalanced ones for me. ANY tire is better than a run flat in my experience. Have a look at Priority Tire site.

Hankook Vetus V12 are what I’m running on my ‘98 Vert and I like them.

Hankooks, continental, Bridgestone, Michelin, General, khumos, etc…. all perform about the same. If you’re not a professional driver, you probably won’t notice a difference. Just buy the cheapest ones you find on a name brand tire. All seasons will last longer. And you won’t notice a difference between all seasons or summer only because your not a professional driver and don’t drive on road courses.

General G-Max AS-07 ultra high performance all-season or General G-Max RS summer only. I have the RS on my C5 and the AS-07 on my daily driver.

Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3's. All around great Temperature, Traction and Tread wear. 200+MPH rated, 600 tread wear. Can't remember temperature and traction but I think it's A and AA respectively.
