My magnetic ride shocks are leaking and are just about to the point where they need replacing. I have the GM service bulletin with the diagram showing normal leakage. Pretty much right there. Really hard to find new rear shocks with the F55 electronics. eBay has knockoffs fr around. $300. A set. Has anyone tried these? They represent that they work properly and come with a. 2 year warranty. Any thoughts? Rock auto only has fronts. Thanks for any input you can give!
I tried a set, they throw a code limiting you to 80 mph. And let's you know about every 10 minutes. I did find some resistors that I had to cut the wiring and switch the plugs to fit. Does not throw a code under heavy acceleration, or under normal driving at 70, but when I hit 100 mph code popped up as I was backing off,but reset automatically. Not sure if will limit me after a 100 mph.
The rear shocks is what I bypassed, so they stay in soft ride. The front will stiffen and work and bcm functions and sets you back in the seats. With all C5 magna rides still out there someone should still be making sets that actually work.

Verify that whatever you buy is actually going to be what you want. The F55 shocks have not been available for quite a while now but there are reports of claimed F55 shocks that turned out to be regular shocks with simulators.
Good luck.
