I have the upper control arms off my car to swap the spring. Drivers had one washer per bolt. Pass had a total of 6 and was able to confirm the trailing bolt of the front bushing had 2 so I assume the leading bolt of the same also had 2.
Anyway, I am going in for an alignment and targeting 3 degrees using stock lower eccentric bolts. Is there any reason I can't pull out one washer per bolt location (pass front bushing would have 1 each) to gain more adjustment?

I did that. I do not think you are going to get -3 without going to aftermarket control arm eccentrics.
