Do I need new wheels?
I'm planing on making a few additinal mods to my C5, including a 3.90 gear set, headers, Z06 intake manifold and Ls1 tuning (in addition to those in my signature). My question is, with the extra power and new gear ratios, should I also be upgrading my wheels?
If so, I've seen some a set with 18x9.5 front and 19x11 rear. Will the larger diameter wheels fit? And if so, any recommendations on tires.
One final thought! Will the C5 clutch take it?

Your clutch will work just fine with those future mods. You dont need to change wheels but if you did that combo would work just fine. In Fact I have a set just like what you are talking about. :)
