Default '98 Pulley chirping

Hi, my 98, 95,000 miles has pulley chirping when cold start. It quiets down as it warms up to little to almost zero chirping.
Question: Can anything serious happen if I will not fix it for a while?
Thanx!

Pullies don't chip, they squeal or grind. Belts chirp. How do you know it's a pulley for sure?
There is no way to answer with certainty when something will fail. If you do not have an ear or feel for this, take it to a trust shop for listen.

You need to start the car and let it idle and look down at the HB. Yours might be starting to fail. If you look down and see the slightest "wobble" on the HB, then that is probably your issue. And if not replaced, yeah bad stuff can happen if the HB lets go while you are driving.

Because it's made from rubber. If the rubber has degraded, you replace it.

Either balancer going or probably the AC belt and pulleys are going. The AC belt being low tends to degrade fast. My ‘98 started annoying chirping in the 60,000 mile range. Not real easy access to replace, but doable.
