Default 2000 corvette won’t start after using Lingenfelter computer programmer

I’m Cynthia, owner of 2000 c5 corvette. I used my Lingenfelter computer programmer. Then I I was going to pull codes but when I hit the reset button my inside fuse box started buzzing loudly. I pulled the key. I got a new battery but now when I start my car it only turns over and quits. Now when I try to pull codes reset button won’t clear everything but if I go ahead and hit option fuel 4 times, I get the code P1280 and P1281, sensor circuit problems. Now what do I do? Thanks for any advice.

Please provide history and detail. Why were you using a programmer?

From the LPE hand held PCM programmer manual:
This screen will appear if the programmer is unable to communicate with your vehicle’s computer. If the problem is not corrected, the programmer will automatically restart the programming process. Take these steps to correct the problem: 1. Make sure that the ignition key is in the RUN position and that the engine is not running. 2. Make sure that both ends of the calbe are securely attached. 3. Wait at least five (5) minutes for the programmer to re-establish communications and program the vehicle. 4. If the three (3) steps above do not correct the problem, call LPE at (260) 724-2552

The car was my husbands and the programmer with instructions was with it. To be honest I had forgotten the purpose of it. My mechanical knowledge is limited but I’m trying to educate myself.
I just had my car in the shop and had everything repaired. The check engine light was on again. I now realize all I needed to do was pull codes but I thought I needed to run the programmer also. During the process my battery ran down. Since it was older I replaced it.
More info.,,. My problems seemed to have started from using the programmer and having a dead battery. Years earlier I had put on a bypass for the security system so my steering wheel wouldn’t lock. Since then when I start my car it turns over, and quits. I get the message to pull key and wait 10 seconds. Then it starts. Now it sounds the same but pulling key and waiting doesn’t work. I don’t know if the symptom is related or coincidence.
Thanks

What did you install? The old column lock bypass? Just an FYI, they have been known to fail.
