I used a syringe and clear tubing to inject oil into the drain port on the side of the compressor. I installed 70ml of oil using a 10 ml syringe. I also installed another 60ml in the accumulator and 30ml into the condenser using the same syringe and tubing. I plan to pull a vacuum on the low side and add another 50ml to the high side for an approx total of 7oz. I used PAG oil AC-Delco p/n 10-5026, because this is what the Chevy dealer said to use based on my VIN. They said this is a "Universal" oil for most GM R134a compressors.
Are the oil amounts you added consistent with the oil balance procedure?

I had a conversation with a service tech at the dealer and he was kind enough to share some knowledge based on what I had already done. I informed him that I used compressed air on the evaporator and condenser. He did not seem too concerned. The spec for my compressor calls for 60ml of oil according to the Refrigerant System Capacities chart in the manual. My old compressor had very little to no oil in it when I checked the drain and S and D ports. According to the oil balance procedure, I was to compare the drained oil from old compressor to the fill spec of the new compressor and add the greater amount into the new compressor. The service tech recommended an additional 10ml in case of any loss. Did I understand this correctly? Or do you see any errors in my procedure that I should be aware of? Thanks again for the help.

I forgot to mention, the oil amount added to the accumulator is consistent with the spec in the Refrigerant System Capacities chart and the additional oil added to the condenser was at the suggestion from the service tech based on how much I pulled out of it. I was able to capture the condenser oil in a plastic sandwich bag when I blew compressed air through it.
