Default What Coolant Hoses Do I Need?

2001 C5 Base. I'm confused looking at Amazon, Autozone, etc. Are there four main coolant hoses on my car? Anyone have a list of part numbers? Would save me a bunch of time. All my hoses are original! I want to change them all. Counting heater hoses, how many hoses total do I need. Thanks.

I would just get the entire set from Samco and upgrade to silicon. They will last a lot longer and look nicer. Buy once cry once.

Well, the stock ones have been in there for 25 years--there are date codes on some of them. That's a pretty long time. I just ordered upper and lower radiator hoses on Amazon for $70. And three heater hoses at Autozone for $70. Five hoses for about $140 seems pretty good. But I'm pretty sure this is not ALL the hoses I need, right?

Hopefully that works out for you. Amazon is a crapshoot on parts.

Well, according to SAMCO there are 8 hoses in the C5 kit:

On a side note, one of the CF supporting vendors, whose name I can't remember at the moment, sells, or did sell, a silicone hose set that was manufactured under the brand name 'Venair". I installed a set of them on my C-5, about 10-12 years ago, and they've worked just fine....
