Default C5 Newbie Question

I drove my new C5 for the first time yesterday, sitting idling with the car fully warmed up, the idle is lumpy, you can feel it slightly shake the car, is this normal for these? I had not noticed this slight bumpy idel in the WS6 T/a's.
I am pretty sure it is just Corvettes more aggressive cam ,just want to make sure they all do this.

Oh and I am SOOOOOO hooked, it has only been 1 day and already I am asking myself why I did not do this earlier! :D

These cars should run smooth. You could have a bad plug, wire or coil. If you take it to the dealership they may not be able to find a problem with it and send you out the door again. I had this (rough running engine) problem on my car for 3 years. It was to the point that it ran so bad, I considered installng another motor and I held off on HP Mods until it was fixed. 3 years, 4 dealerships (who could not find anything wrong), 3 sets of plugs and wires later, While at an Engine shop doing a chassis dyno, we found that one of the coils were bad. Now my car runs like a champ!!

I have a 2003 and at times it idles a little rough. Someone at work had a 2000 and then traded it in for a 2002. They also noticed a slight change in idle quality. If is only a slight rock with no other stall of driving issues I wouldn'y/don't worry about it. Enjoy your new ride.

One person's "rough" is anothers smooth. Have it checked, or at least go to the dealer and compare your idle with other new Vettes.

All the best. :yesnod:
